Style Picker

Style Picker

Productivity ⚡ tab → Styles group

A searchable style selection window with prioritized colored pins. Applies the chosen class to the element at the cursor — much faster than hunting through Flare's style dropdown in a project with hundreds of classes.

To apply a style

  1. Click inside the element you want to style in an open topic.
  2. Click Style Picker on the Productivity ⚡ tab.
  3. Type to search. The list shows every class defined in the stylesheets under your Content folder, as p.Note (element-specific) or .Generic (usable anywhere).
  4. By default, only styles that fit the element at the cursor are listed — untick Only styles for <tag> to see everything.
  5. Press Enter (or double-click) to apply. The class replaces the element's current class.

Pins: keep your favorites on top

Right-click a style to cycle its pin level:

  • Green (1), Blue (2), Orange (3) — pinned styles sort to the top, by level.
  • Hidden — noise styles sink to the bottom and disappear unless Show hidden is ticked.

Pins are saved per project (in Project\Users\KaizenStylePins.xml), so a team can commit a shared set of preferred styles.

Keyboard flow

Type to search → Down into the list → Enter to apply → Esc to close.

Notes

  • The topic is saved and backed up before the class is applied (see Backup and Restore).
  • The picker works with classes only (no IDs or complex selectors) and applies one class at a time — it replaces, not appends.
  • Styles inside @media/@supports blocks are found; @keyframes and @font-face are ignored.
