Kaizen Plugin ⚡ tab → Backup group

Several Kaizen Plugin features create automatic backups before they change your files — single-file backups for topic-level operations, and ZIP archives (usually placed on your desktop) for batch operations. The Backup group is where you restore them.

Restore Topic​

Restore the latest backup of the current topic:

  1. Open the topic that you want to restore.
  2. Click Restore Topic in the Backup group.
  3. The topic is restored to its most recent backup version.

Restore from ZIP​

Restore all topics from a previously created ZIP backup file:

  1. Click Restore from ZIP in the Backup group.
  2. Select the ZIP backup file.
  3. All topics in the backup are restored.

Tips​

  • Backups are created automatically by the plugin's batch features (tag replacement, empty-ALT stamping, bookmarking, and others) before they touch your files.
  • ZIP backups are also useful for archiving project states before major restructuring.
  • The plugin's backups complement — not replace — proper source control.
