Open Last Changed File

Open Last Changed File

Kaizen Plugin ⚡ tab → File group

The Open Last Changed File feature jumps straight back to the content file you last worked on — handy after restarting Flare or switching projects.

To open the last changed file

  1. Click Open Last Changed File in the File group.
  2. The plugin scans the project's Content folder and opens the topic, snippet, or stylesheet (.htm, .html, .flsnp, .css) with the newest change timestamp.

Notes

  • Files that are already open in the editor are skipped — otherwise the command would usually point at the document you are editing right now.
  • Output, AutoSave, and Backup folders are ignored, so auto-generated artifacts never win the "last changed" race.
  • If no qualifying file is found (for example, everything recent is already open), you get a short message instead of a silent failure.
